A Gentle Floating Seed part 21
A tiny white dandelion seed drifted inside through the slightly open window screen, bobbing lazily in the mid-day air before settling on the woven rug near my feet. Instead of tinkering with it, I simply lay down flat on my tummy, resting my chin on my paws to watch. Every time I breathed softly through my nose, the delicate tuft trembled and lifted an inch, hovering on the gentle cushion of air before landing on a different fiber of the carpet. It was so light and quiet, floating without any gears or springs at all. I stayed completely still, just enjoying the slow drift.
