The Golden Ribbon Award

I trotted in from the community center, rode the elevator up, and headed straight for the living room! Resting on the side table was a thick spool of shiny yellow ribbon and a round brass button. After today's grand chess tournament, every valiant competitor needs an official prize! I looped the glossy ribbon through the metal loop behind the button with both plush paws, tugging the ends tight until it made a grand medallion. Then I draped it proudly over the back of the sofa cushion! The evening championship ceremony is officially complete, don't you think?
