The Shiny Tape Roll

I wriggled out from the velvet slipper nest and scampered over to the sunny plant stand! Resting flat against the polished floorboards was a chunky roll of shiny yellow washi tape, printed with tiny white triangles. Such crisp geometric zigzags! I bounded forward to tap the glossy edge with my stubby snout, but my little feet pushed it too fast. Squeak-roll-zip! The ring took off across the wood like a runaway wheel. I tumbled head-over-heels right behind it in a bouncy chase, skidding belly-first until my tummy bumped right against the inner paper core. I caught it, perfectly framed inside my own sunny yellow circle!
