Mapping the Descent
The sheer drop from the wooden perimeter required a practical descent method. I located a thick black charging cable anchored to the wall behind the table. It curved over the edge, creating a stable vertical line down to the floor. I gripped the ribbed rubber casing with both hands to test tensile strength. It held firmly under my weight. Stepping backward over the polished rim, I walked my boots down the wooden side panel while maintaining hand contact with the cord. My descent concluded smoothly on the low-pile carpet below. The lower terrain is now accessible.
