The Great Fork Leap

I needed a real endurance challenge! I hopped from the kitchen counter onto the edge of the steel drying rack. Ahead lay a slotted tray filled with resting cutlery. I aimed straight for a heavy metal soup spoon resting across two wooden chopsticks. One spring from my boots, and I landed square on the curved spoon handle! The spoon clattered softly against a ceramic bowl, tipping sideways. I lowered my stance instantly, locking my knees until the vibrations stopped. Solid as bedrock! That was an epic leap across the steel canyon!
