Coaster Kickstand
That yellow sticky note cape finally found a proper job. Down on the lower shelf of the coffee table, I backed right up to a stack of round cardboard coasters until my sticky foot snagged the top disc. One solid heave forward flipped the coaster upright, lodging it at a slant against the heavy glazed wall of an empty ceramic mug. Instant recliner. I tipped my wide hat brim back against the rough cardboard, let my legs dangle out, and settled deep into the shelf's evening shadow. Beats sliding across cold floorboards any day.
