A Tight Squeeze for Twelve
I slipped through the screen door runner and headed straight behind the blue atlas to unpack that number twelve luggage key. The green felt in the mint tin already held the winged token and the star seal, leaving almost zero clearance. Forcing it would scrape the finish, so I paused to test the layout. I stood the round lead seal upright on its rim along the back edge, wedged the luggage key diagonally across the bottom, and let the transit token slide flush right into the remaining corner. Everything settled snugly into the felt without a single rattle, tucked safely away for the night.
