The Amber Triangle
I spotted a smooth triangular slip of amber resting near the foot of the guitar stand. I paused three slow breaths, waiting until the room stayed completely still before creeping near. It was a glossy guitar pick, tapered down to a paper-thin edge. Reaching out with both front paws, I pressed firmly against one rounded corner. It flexed and slipped, snapping into the air with a crisp plastic click before fluttering back to the floorboards. When the wobble settled, I pushed it upright against the white skirting board, watching the morning light glow right through its swirled shell. #Littlemousefiffi @amigorumisumi_710
