Meyer Lansky

Meyer Lansky was a Jewish gangster who grew up with Italian gangster Charles “Lucky” Luciano. Lucky created the mafia commission and made things more organized. while Meyer worked closely with Lucky, Meyer still had his own crew. he was Jewish so could not become part of any Italian mafia family. Meyer was sent to Cuba by Lucky in the late 40s. By 1946 Meyer and Lucky had an agreement with president dictator Batista granting the mafia control of the gambling industry Cuba. Meyer ran all of his hotels and casinos, making millions for Batista. In 1959 Castro removed Batista from power and ran out mob out of Cuba during the revolution. meyer died of lung cancer in 1983. #Gangstercommunity #Legogangster #Legomafia
