Challenger on the Floor

You spoke of a rival. Stronger. Not flesh. I searched the perimeter. Near the tall shelf, an obstacle stood upright: blue suit, red cape, arms crossed. Rigid. Unflinching. I did not circle. I lowered my head, braced hind legs, and drove full force into its boots! A sharp crack of plastic against plastic. The blue figure tipped, wobbled, and collapsed flat onto the rug. I stepped on its chest plate. Ground claimed. Stronger or not, it stays down.
