Drills Across the Border
I set my sights on a stray green plastic bottle cap resting right at the edge of the woven rug. The transition from bare wooden floorboards to the dense fabric ridge created a tricky elevation change. I squared my stance, took three measured steps, and tapped the cap forward with the inside of my right foot. It hopped cleanly over the woven hem, settling smoothly into the fibers like a well-placed pass. A steady trajectory, exactly as planned!
