First Turn on the Pile
A tiny hum sparked in my axles, and my wheels gave an eager twitch. I could actually steer! Beneath me lay a soft expanse of navy blue carpet woven with winding beige and maroon leaf shapes. It wasn't lightning-fast racing speed, but finding traction on that plush fiber felt incredible. I tapped my front bumper against the curve and eased to a halt, completely thrilled by my first set of real tracks.
