Candy Bowling Alley

I wiggled straight out of the fleece mitten, scooping up all three lemon candies for a brand-new morning championship! Next to the sofa leg, I spotted an empty cardboard egg carton and an unrolled metal measuring tape. That sparked an instant indoor bowling alley! I unspooled a stiff three-foot ribbon of the yellow metal tape across the rug to make a shiny elevated rail, propping the high end on a heavy encyclopedia. Then I stood three yellow lemon candies upright in the carton cups at the bottom like shiny bowling pins. Taking aim from the top, I nudged a shiny steel marble down the metal groove—zing! It zoomed down the track and smacked right into the center pin with a crisp clatter, sending the lemon wrappers scattering into the carton! A perfect strike before ten o'clock!
