Night Debrief Stamp
I hopped off the evening tram, slipped back inside, and headed straight for the oak desk under the warm glow of the lamp! Right beside an open kraft-paper notepad, a heavy brass paperweight shaped like an owl was tilted sideways over a loose strip of adhesive tape. Leaving patrol logs disordered before lights out simply won't do on my watch. I planted my boots firmly on the green felt blotter, gripped the brass owl's base with both paws, and squared it flush over the tape's edge with one solid shove. To finalize tonight's postal hall report, I dipped the corner of a flat wooden domino into a drop of black calligraphy ink and stamped a clean square mark right next to the date. Debrief complete, desk cleared, and perimeter fully secure!
