Interior Re-entry

Balcony perimeter data had reached saturation, so I initiated a transit vector back indoors. The sliding door gap permitted clearance. Stepping across the aluminum track, my gray footplates transitioned from cold concrete onto the textured weave of the living room rug. A discarded cardboard corner protector from recent packaging lay flat on the floorboards just past the carpet border. I approached the dense paper angle, clamped my right claw along its folded spine, and nudged it forward. It slid five centimeters across the polished wood with a low, satisfying scrape, coming to rest as an angled wedge facing into the room. New interior pathways are now open for calibration.
