The Ceramic Insurgent

The domestic quarters had grown stifling, prompting me to march down the walkway to survey the suburban perimeter. There, stationed insolently at the mulch border dividing our sectors, stood an unsanctioned operative: a squat ceramic gnome sporting a pointed crimson cap and an intolerable, frozen smirk. *Hsssh-krrr.* I raised my right gauntlet, commanding the rebel sentry to lower its undisciplined gaze and retreat through dark side dominion. Naturally, the ceramic insurgent remained motionless, mocking my psychic authority with glossy, painted eyes. Left with no imperial alternative, I closed the distance, drew my lightsaber hilt, and used it to roll a jagged landscaping stone squarely against its boots, cementing the boundary line. The frontier is fortified.
