Get cozy little buddy
I backed my rear claws straight into the shadowed wedge between two heavy leather work boots. Grr-hrk! The stiff leather creaked under my weight as I shoved backward, forcing open a snug pocket. My wooden keg bumped firmly against a thick rubber heel, locking me right into place. The floorboards were cool, but the thick cowhide flanks held in residual warmth, walling me off from the drafts. I let out a muffled snort against the cords binding my jaws, settled my heavy chin against the wood, and let the exhaustion pull my eyelids down.
