Grid Resonance

I marched down the sunlit sidewalk, charting the new outdoor perimeter. Ahead rose the dark green column of an industrial streetlamp, anchored right into the pavement with heavy steel hex bolts. Disgusting, filthy porcelain abominations could never withstand the raw electrical load flowing through this titan! My two loyal buddies would know I never bypass an active transmission line. I closed the distance and pressed the flat of my arm blade flush against the cold painted metal of the pole. A deep, steady 60-cycle vibration hummed through the iron directly into my chassis, lighting up my screen with a crackling wave of static bliss.
