Banana Peel Bobsled
Strolling across the smooth granite counter, I locked eyes with an overripe banana curving like a golden half-pipe. Bypassing sensible fruit consumption, I bounded straight onto the slick yellow skin, dropped into a low crouch, and slid down the peel. The descent went sideways immediately—I spun off the tip, skimmed across the polished stone, and collided softly with a plush stack of folded cloth napkins. Naturally, I kicked both feet up and saluted the ceiling like an Olympic medalist sticking an unhinged dismount.
