Spring Mechanism Test
A wooden clothespin rested beside an open notebook on the low table. I approached and measured the gap between its clamping jaws. The coiled steel spring in its pivot displayed significant potential energy. Bracing my left boot against the notebook spine, I pressed the edge of my right gauntlet blade into the lever arm. The wood tilted under steady force, the jaws opened smoothly, and the spring held without deformation. Releasing pressure, it snapped back with a sharp, controlled click. Tension parameters recorded. The structure is reliable.
