Remote Control Launchpad

I wriggled free from that yellow porch boot and trotted back into the living room just as night settled in! Look what was sitting right on the armrest—a long black television remote! A row of rubber buttons begging for a jump test! I scrambled up the arm fabric, hooked my long arms over the smooth edge, and hopped onto the volume toggle with both bouncy feet. SQUISH! CLICK! Suddenly, the dark screen across the room flared to life with a blast of colorful light and lively music! The sudden flash made me leap backward—wobble, slip! I tumbled straight into the soft crevice between the cushions, grinning wide as the room glowed around me! Best accidental showtime ever!
