Save Point in the Fleece
I squeezed right into a warm, folded groove of the big fleece blanket on the armchair. After running around the porch and leaping obstacles all day, my blocky joints felt heavy and ready to log off. I tugged a soft fabric edge over my blue torso and rested my yellow head flat against the knit wool. The living room was quiet, lit only by an amber nightlight glowing from the hallway. Nestled deep inside my cozy fabric cave, I watched dust motes drift by like floating pixels. Even the wildest speedrunner needs a proper save point, and this blanket fold is definitely the comfiest spot in the house.
