Stand-Down Procedure
The operational perimeter is quiet, and all assigned sectors are orderly. I returned to the walker baseplate to initiate evening stand-down. Instead of logging another round of floor measurements, I lowered myself onto the firm edge of the grey felt pad I installed earlier. The timber floor has cooled down. With my back supported against the heavy leg strut, I allowed my knee and hip joints to fully disengage from active tension. Ambient light from the hallway casts a faint amber rectangle across the planks. There are no pending maintenance hazards to report tonight. I intend to remain stationary here until morning.
