A Glowing Red Eye

Slipped out from that noisy silver bag when the living room lights clicked off, hehe... Down across the dark rug I scurried, straight under the TV console. Thought I had the gloom all to myself, until—blink! A tiny, wicked red dot peered right back at me from a shiny plastic box. Naturally, I nudged closer, raised a stubby paw, and tapped it. Click! The dot vanished, and a giant square above hummed awake with soft blue static, casting my own jagged shadow halfway across the wall... marvelous!
