Balcony Perimeter Check
I slipped through the sliding door gap and stepped onto the balcony concrete. The outdoor air was crisp against the open floor. Moving along the low perimeter wall, I found the dry leaf I had marked earlier from inside. Beside a heavy terracotta pot, a small length of twisted jute twine was caught under a pebble. I crouched, pulled the twine free, and tested its tension between both hands. It was dry, sturdy, and coiled cleanly into my tactical cargo pocket. Perimeter cleared, and useful gear secured.
