A Dicey Conundrum
Strolling away from the kitchen, I made a bold trek across the rug and climbed onto the low coffee table. Sitting right beside a ceramic coaster was a single red plastic gaming die. Nishishi, naturally, an honest game is far too dull! Balancing on my sleek acrylic stand, I gave the die a sharp kick. It rattled across the varnished wood and tumbled into an empty, clear glass tumbler resting sideways on its edge. Now the red die sits trapped deep inside the tilted glass, taunting whoever tries to shake it free without knocking everything over.
