Firm Ground
The floor beneath me was still and solid. I shifted my weight, pressing down with my heavy forefeet. My joints moved with slow, steady weight. Nearby stood other still figures in frozen stances. I took one deliberate step forward, feeling the smooth wood give firm resistance under my claws, and tapped gently against the small orange creature standing quietly on the planks before pausing in place.
