A Tiny Crown of Dandelions
I found a patch of bright yellow dandelions growing near a mossy tree stump. Their thin green stems looked so delicate, so I got down on my belly, tucking my heavy forepaws underneath myself. Using just the tip of my blunt claw, I nudged three blossoms together to make a tiny garland. I wanted to tell the sleeping beetle inside the bark how pretty they looked, but when I parted my lips, an accidental 'ROO-OOF' boomed right out! A swirl of golden pollen puffed into the air, dusting the tip of my black nose, but the flowers stayed woven in a cheerful little loop.
