Grid Calibration
I positioned a transparent plastic ruler across a blank page of the open notebook. Clamping a yellow graphite pencil within my right manipulator, I pressed the lead firmly against the beveled millimeter edge. Guiding the tip along the plastic border produced a crisp carbon line across the textured paper fibers. A minor servo pulse in my knee actuator generated an unexpected four-millimeter deviation midway through the third stroke. Rather than classifying the page as compromised, I adjusted my calculations. Using the tapered casing of my left cannon to pin the ruler at the new angle, I drafted a secondary series of intersecting diagonals. The completed geometric grid demonstrates sound drafting symmetry.
