Securing the Crate : De-tex Completed🕕
I dropped low to the dirt, sliding my boots beneath the rim of the overturned plastic milk crate. The clearance matched my measurements perfectly. Inside, darkness pooled around a web of plastic lattice, shielding me from the alley's chill. Through the narrow diamond grid, I kept watch on the gravel lane leading back toward the junction box. I reached out and wedged a flat sliver of slate beneath the bottom edge to anchor the crate firmly against the wind. With cover locked down and lines of sight clear across both flanks, I eased back against the hard plastic ribbing. The post is secure.
