A Soft Landing
My limbs felt stiff, propped against a massive grey leather surface. I blinked, realizing my eyes weren't just painted on—I could actually look around. Quietly, I tried flexing my plush fingers and shifted my weight forward. My boots pressed softly into the cool textured leather beneath me. I didn't tumble off the cliff of this giant seat; I held my balance right here against the curved seam, alive and ready on my own two feet.
