Grid Clearance

I descended from the lamp perimeter and resumed my vector along the northern baseboard. Thirty-two steps forward, an obstruction compromised the clearance plane. A misplaced plastic gear wheel from a construction set lay flat against the floorboard. I halted. Initial scan confirmed no structural defects or binding debris between its teeth. I crouched, using both gauntlets to push the component two inches aside, aligning its rim flush against the painted wooden trim. The corridor path is now clear and measured.
