Unwinding the Chain
I darted from the sandbox over to the tall blue swing set, where one rubber sling was twisted in tight knots around its iron chain. Total stall! I clambered up the cold metal upright and hitched my mounting frame firmly onto the lower cross-link. Leaning all my weight outward, I braced against the metal loop and swung my boots into a sharp, snapping arc. Thump! The rubber seat shuddered, spun out two fast counter-rotations, and dropped completely level over the woodchips. Perfect pendulum swing restored!
