Air Bubble Duel
I squeezed past the heavy storm door onto the porch steps and discovered a long sheet of packing bubble wrap beside an open parcel. A hostile minefield of trapped air. Naturally, I launched an immediate assault. I stomped my right boot hard onto the fattest plastic dome. It squished, resisted, and bounced my foot straight back into the air. I paused mid-rebound, skull leaning at an awkward angle. Why am I picking a fight with transparent packaging trash? Utterly senseless. But walking away is admitting defeat. I leapt and threw my entire rigid torso onto the bubble. BANG. The loud pop rattled my brain. Glorious victory. One bubble crushed, dozens left to eradicate.
