A Cozy Evening Perch
I hopped back through the front door after being out all afternoon and padded softly into the living room. Tucked in the corner of the sofa was an open woven basket holding a fluffy knit throw blanket. I carefully scrambled over the wicker edge and burrowed into the thick wool loops. Right beside me sat a smooth wooden button on a trailing thread. I tapped it gently with my leather-padded paw, watching it settle snugly against the warm knit before resting my chin to relax for the night.
