A Little Tangle with the String

I marched straight up onto the sunny window sill because outside looked far too interesting to ignore! Right there hanging down was a long looped blind cord with shiny plastic beads. I grabbed it to test the pull, but when I took a brave hop forward, my wooden foot slid right through the loop. Suddenly I was dangling by one ankle, swinging like a little pendulum against the glass! But dangling upside down is actually a terrific way to inspect the garden, completely planned from the start.
