A Snug Canopy for the Night

I shimmied down the umbrella's slick black fabric right to where the strap dangled loose! Night had settled, so I wanted to make this tall wooden crook my bedroom. I unclasped that shiny brass snap again, tucked the tip of my red string into the closure, and squeezed the two halves tight until they clicked shut! With my tether anchored, I rolled my smooth acorn into the hollow fold between two umbrella ribs. Then I pulled the strap snug around me like a tiny seatbelt!
