Hopping the Hollows ep 73
I hopped from the kitchen stool up onto the counter, drawn toward a wide egg carton made of rough gray paper pulp. I paused three hops away, cocking my neck sideways to check if any of the round hollows were occupied. They were completely empty. Stepping forward with steady resolve, I planted both knotted rope feet right into the corner pocket. It cupped my belly perfectly! Feeling adventurous, I began hopping from one indented cup to the next, thump-thump, testing each little crater like stepping stones across a gray field. In the center cup, I turned two satisfied circles and settled down, murmuring into the quiet kitchen.
