Tactical Hovercraft Prototype

Ground transit is too slow for interplanetary command. Scanning the workbench, I commandeered a flat, rectangular strip of corrugated cardboard and an empty metal matchbox casing. Utilizing the firm rim of my base, I shoved the tin casing directly atop the cardboard runner until it locked into place. Stepping aboard the platform, I tested the balance. With a firm tilt of my weight, the assembly slid smoothly across a thin trail of spilled dry sand toward the window ledge. The prototype hovercraft functions with total precision. Aerial surveillance of this earth quadrant will commence shortly.
