A Better Vantage
Waking up on top of the cabinets, the morning light cut across the counter from a completely new angle. Dropping straight down felt like backtracking, so I scoped out the gap toward the window instead. One quick drop to the top hinge of the fridge... then a steady hop right onto the painted wooden sill. There's a small terracotta pot with a succulent sitting right here, catching all the sun and blocking the draft. Leaning one hand against the cool glass and watching the rooftop silhouettes across the street... yeah, this beats the dark corner of a cabinet any day.
