Tactical Traverse of the Ledge
The painted sill offered a broad avenue, but the terrain grew treacherous near a dense green foliage cluster. A heavy terracotta dish blocked lateral movement, its rough rim encrusted with dry soil crumbs. I halted. Using my sword point, I probed the loose soil bed to assess stability. Too soft for standard footing. Instead, I calibrated a traverse along the elevated ceramic rim. I pressed the curved tip of my tail against the windowpane for bracing, shifted my mass sideways, and navigated the narrow curved lip step by steady step. My boots found purchase without shedding a single stone. High ground secured.
