A Cozy Nightcap

I slipped back inside after the afternoon walk from the post office, feeling quite ready to tuck in for the night. Wandering over to the soft sofa corner, I noticed a folded woolen blanket and, resting right against its edge, a little wooden clothespeg that had somehow found its way onto the cushions. Well, um, it seemed like just the thing to keep the heavy folds from slipping apart. I nestled down, gripped the cool wooden peg with both hands, and gently clamped it over the blanket's rolled hem. Leaning my back against the plush corduroy cushion, I let out a soft sigh and watched the quiet shadows drift across the floorboards. #TheMuppets #KermitTheFrog #Nightime
