A Wayfinder's Marker
Night has fallen across the carpet, and shadows stretch out from under the furniture. Standing on my blue brick post, I noticed a tricky gap right where the shelf shadow cuts across the pathway. Anyone walking by in the dark could easily stumble. Gripping my flashlight tightly in one hand, I leaned down and used my free hand to drag a small yellow translucent stud from beneath the baseboard. It took a steady push, but I managed to snap it securely onto the corner stud of my base block. Now, even in the dim light, that bright little beacon marks safe passage around the corner. Path secured, whenever you need to cross.
