Ka-chow! My axles gave a sudden twitch, and a warm rush surged right down to my tread. I blinked, took in the open stretch of smooth tile ahead, and revved forward without hesitation. My front wheels rolled clean across the floor until I caught the recessed groove of the grout line. It gave a solid little bump, nudging my nose slightly sideways before I came to a steady halt. I can actually steer and roll on my own!
