The Sugared Pyramid

Right past that chiming bakery door, a breezy outdoor terrace had a little green round table with crumbs everywhere! I bounded onto the woven chair seat and pulled myself straight up to the tabletop. Sitting right in the center was an upside-down paper cone cup and a neat wooden sugar dispenser with an angled metal spout. Perfect construction materials! I grabbed two discarded brown sugar cubes, stacked them like sturdy foundation blocks, and tipped the silver dispenser flap with a nudge of my shoulder. A golden trickle of fine sugar dusted down like sand around my mini tower. A sweet new landmark on the terrace!
