A Soft Sway
The morning felt unusually still... until a tiny quiver started in my right foot. I held my breath, watching the cool white ground below me. Slowly, carefully, I tilted my body to the side. The knit bag looped across my shoulder swayed with a gentle, soft rustle against my hip. I glanced upward and saw the quiet blue figure resting close by. I reached out one rounded paw, lightly tapping against its smooth arm. It didn't mind at all. Everything stayed peaceful, and I settled back down on my feet.
