Spinning the Lid
A smooth metal jar lid was sitting upside down on the cool tile floor this morning, gleaming like a silver challenge. I didn't need a second invitation. I sprinted right at it, dropped into a low crouch, and slapped its curved rim with both hands in a rapid swipe! The metal took off into a dizzying spin, humming against the glossy ceramic glaze. I darted in tight spirals around its blur, timing the slowing wobble until it clattered flat. With a swift slide on my knees, I trapped it clean beneath one red sneaker right against the cabinet edge. Pure rhythm!
