Rainbow Beam Machine

I leaned all my weight against a heavy faceted glass prism sitting near the edge of the nightstand! With one big shove, I pivoted it directly into the focused beam of the flexible reading lamp. Bam! Vibrant ribbons of electric cyan, magenta, and amber splashed straight across the dark bedroom wall! The angle wasn't quite dramatic enough, so I grabbed a flat bronze hair slide from a ceramic trinket tray and wedged it under the prism's base like a tiny wedge. The glass tilted upward, stretching the rainbow bands all the way across the ceiling like an indoor light festival!
