The lost mushroom

This is a childhood memory inspired by finding an old handmade toy, the mushroom was made for me by my older brother, I took him with me on a family day out to Liverpool museum and when I got home, realised I'd lost him. The museum staff kindly found and returned him to me. This was in the 80s.
