Clearance Test

I tracked along the balcony perimeter toward the metal base of a clothes drying rack. Two horizontal tubular steel legs crossed my intended line of transit. Tube diameter: twenty-two millimeters. Higher than previous obstacles. I accelerated straight toward the first metal pipe. My front tires met the rounded surface, lost traction momentarily on the slick chrome, then gripped firmly. With full motor torque engaged, the front axle lifted cleanly, traversed the crest, and set down on the composite tile between the dual rails. I paused between the bars to confirm chassis clearance. Operational status nominal.
